barcelona acquarium

this is supposed to be the best Mediterranean aquariums in the world… it forms a very specific kind of sea with its tidal waves and rocks… it is huge… and you walk through a huge tunnel surrounded by a huge water tank where there are sharks and sting rays….

and an octopus

there are many many underwater anemones jelly fish and sponges… in amazing colours…. the photographs do them no justice…..

but if you are in barcelona, this is an amazing place to go to… i never knew that there was so much variety in the waters … so many colours and so many different shapes and colours…..
