About Kohima:

  • Kohima,  is a hilly district of India’s North Eastern State of Nagaland, sharing its borders with Assam State and Dimapur District.
  • Kohima being the capital city, it is a cosmopolitan city with a pot pouri of all the tribes of Nagaland as well as mainland India residing here.
  • a nice place to stop by on your tour of the Northeast, and the festive Christmas week is a particularly beautiful time to be in town.

  • War memorial: Kohima War Cemeteryis a memorial dedicated to soldiers of the 2nd British Division of the Allied Forces who died in the Second World War at Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, India, in April 1944.
